Armenia best player, coach awards go to Pyunik men
Pyunik and national team midfielder Karlen Mkrtchyan has been recognized as the best player of Armenia in the ending 2010 season.
Mkrtchyan, 22, has made 82 appearances for Pyunik since 2006, scoring 10 goals. He has also won 12 caps in the main national team since 2008, and 13 caps in the U-21 team (scoring one goal) since 2007.

Serzh Sargsyan reelected president of chess federation
The Armenian Chess Federation held its annual conference on February 1 reelecting Serzh Sargsyan president.
The conference at the Tigran Petrosyan Chess Palace in Yerevan chaired by Sargsyan, the president of Armenia, also included the election of 64 members of the Federation’s Board, according to official reports.
The national football teams of Armenia and Georgia had a friendly match in Cirion Stadium in Limassol.
According to Armenian sports news website Armsport.am, the Georgians beat the Armenians at 2:1.
